We are encouraging all attendees to take a Lateral Flow Test within 24 hours prior to the event.
Birmingham Pride encourages people to become vaccinated. If you are eligible for your second vaccine, please get it. It is NOT a condition of entry to Birmingham Pride.
FREE Test kits are available at our box office on Thurs 23rd and Fri 24th at the Nightingale Club from 12noon to 10pm, or can be collected from a pharmacy.
Any person returning a positive test should not attend Birmingham Pride parade or festival.
Birmingham Pride has a social responsibility to ensure all people attending pride have declared themselves to be free from coronavirus symptoms & to not be in a period of quarantine or self-isolation following a positive test or notification from the NHS test & trace team or app. Our policy is in line with current Public Health England advice.

No. However if you wish to present it on the weekend you can.
If you experience any Covid 19 symptoms, you MUST stay home and follow government guidelines
The wearing of a face mask is not compulsory, but we do encourage you to wear one where possible.
We encourage ALL attendees to take a Lateral Flow Test 24 hours prior to coming.
Everyone has individual responsibility and choices. Where possible keep a safe distance from others, wear a face mask, avoid poorly ventilated areas, cover coughs and sneezes with bent elbow or tissues; clean your hands frequently.
Birmingham Pride has provided hand sanitising stations throughout the entire festival sites.
